Highlights of the AIRSWEEE Lucknow Workshop

  • The session by Lata Rastogi, a CM of TiE Lucknow, on ‘Killer (free) tools to grow your start-up’ was very unique to the Lucknow workshop and was very well received
  • In session by Prof. Vinayak Nath, Venture Catalysts, on The Art of Fund Raising, the mentees had an opportunity to clear their doubts on funding. Prof. Nath’s presentation included relevant examples for better understanding of the topic.
  • Harshit Desai, an experienced Digital Marketeer took a session on the 101s of Digital Marketing. The session was an hour and a half – but it still had the participants asking for more.
  • The Press conference was successful as more than 18 press reporters attended. Some of the mentees’ real time feedback was also covered in some leading newspapers
  • The NGO visit to Sheroes (a Venture by acid survivor victims) was very useful to Mentors. The US mentors and the India mentor along with the visiting speaker went to visit SHEROES HANGOUT. This is a unique entrepreneurial venture which seeks to employ and empower acid attack survivors to transform them into economically productive individuals and also to help them gain confidence. The US mentors were very impressed with the concept and they discussed how this venture combined entrepreneurship with social responsibility and women empowerment.
