Confidence & Best practice ideas

The workshop boosted my confidence and made me aware of the areas I had ignored in my business plan. I get industry information as well as practical ideas for marketing from my mentor about preschools from US and I am looking to see if I can do a learning trip to a well established Reggio preschool in another country to learn their best practices. One of the US mentors is in the same line of business and I am hoping to connect with her too.

Had written to Unitus Seed Fund with a brief on Maheejaa. They have got in touch with me and have asked me to submit our Pitch. Is working with my oversees mentor Kristine to further finetune on the pitch that I had leart to develop during the AIRSWEEE proogram

Growth

We started with 3 children and have 7 children at the end of 2 and half months of operation. I am close to my breakeven point. So if I grow at even 1 child per month, I should be making profit from this year itself.

Had a good sale through Jaypore and recently product went live on Lime Road. Have tied up with a boutique in Banglore and 2 boutiques in Kolkata from where are bags are also being sold

On 3rd March we organised a Contest on our fb page, Miharu Dokra Jewelry (https://www.facebook.com/Dokra.Jewelry/) It was about understanding the age old process of making brass handicrafts. Through the contest we were able to reach to 2500 people and also gifted a beautiful Dokra earring to the winner

NEW SERVICE

Started a work shop on designer dokra jewelry on my own premises with 2 artisans and setting up of furnace.We have successfully completely the project and the jewelry is about to be complete , would soon be launched.
