» We had good mix of male and female mentors at AIRSWEEE Workshop – Durgapur, the Mentees where diverse backgrounds.
» As per the feedback received from Mentees, the US Mentors were really helpful. Their presentations and problem solving suggestions were welcome by all. Individual and group exercises given by them during the programme went very well in making the participants understand the concepts.
» Amongst the Indian Mentor the session by Mr. D. Ghatak, Financial Consultant from Durgapur area was very informative for the mentees as they all needed to learn how to approach a Bank, and how to submit business plans, what kind of company formation would help them the most etc.
» Mr CD Mitra, Secretary, TiE Kolkata also our Mentor for the event took the participants through the various aspects of Branding / Marketing and also suggested & guided the Mentees to refine their elevator pitches.
» All sessions prescribed as per agenda of the workshop held with sufficient time for each topic to be addressed. The additional session was on Finance that was as per local needs so that the Mentees could further approach the Banking & Financial Institutes for their ventures.
» The NGO Meeting was very enligtening for the Mentors who understood the work done by the Women of DSP employees for the backward communities there.
» Visit to one of the Mentees Farm House was very interesting where we saw the good work done by her for the local farmers.
